Snooker Coaching With Neil Johnson - Liverpool Snooker Academy
Neil Johnson, Aintree, Liverpool Neil Johnson has been involved with the game of snooker from a young age. Neil played on the Liverpool snooker scene with the likes of Ian Brumby and John Parrott. Following a number of years on the fringe of the main snooker tour Neil decided to turn his attention to coaching, which was what he enjoyed most of all. Neil and his wife, Paula contribute more than most to the development of snooker. Over the last three years they have developed the fantastic Liverpool Snooker Academy, which MaXimumbreak Snooker can vouch for being one of the best snooker facilities in the country. The Academy is nurturing the talents of an endless stream of young talent, perhaps topped by Under-21 England International Danny McCann. At 15 years of age and countless numbers of century breaks and tournament wins under his belt, Danny is a great prospect and has the makings of a future world champion. Of course, it goes without saying that aside from the fantastic facilities, one of the vital ingredients behind the success of grassroots snooker in Liverpool and the wealth of young talent is Neil Johnson himself. For the past 10 years Neil has developed numerous training aids, each with a view towards developing the key phases of the snooker cue action. A big success story is that of the Gravity Cue®. Neil explains "Gravity Cue® was invented as a result of my experiences over many years as a Snooker Coach working with players of all ages and all levels of skill - the Gravity Cue® will help you improve your accuracy, your consistency and your overall enjoyment of each and every game". Neil is available to coach locally at the Liverpool Snooker Academy. Unfortunately, commitments with the Academy and the Gravity Cue® mean that Neil cannot travel. However, you are guaranteed a fantastic day out at the Academy that offers a low daily rate play to allow you to put some practice in, in between your coaching sessions with Neil. Rates start at £20 per hour. Are you a snooker coach? If you think you can bring something extra to MaXimumbreak then please get in touch through the usual channels. We have members in your area who we'd be pleased to refer to you.
